Crunchy Green Bean Casserole

List of Ingredients
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 (10.75 oz) can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8oz) can of water chestnuts drained and chopped.
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 (15oz) cans of green beans (drained)
- Fresh ground pepper to taste
- 1 1/3 cups French fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350
- Place bacon in a large deep skillet. Cook over medium to high heat until evenly browned.
- Drain the bacon, cool, crumble and set aside.
- In a bowl mix together the bacon, soup, water chestnuts, milk, green beans and black pepper.
- Pour bean mix into a 1 1/2 qt casserole dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.
- Stir and top with French fried onions.
- Bake for another 5 minutes - until the onions are golden brown.
