    Thanksgiving favorite


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 slices of bacon
    • 1 (10.75 oz) can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 (8oz) can of water chestnuts drained and chopped.
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 2 (15oz) cans of green beans (drained)
    • Fresh ground pepper to taste
    • 1 1/3 cups French fried onions


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 350
    2. Place bacon in a large deep skillet. Cook over medium to high heat until evenly browned.
    3. Drain the bacon, cool, crumble and set aside.
    4. In a bowl mix together the bacon, soup, water chestnuts, milk, green beans and black pepper.
    5. Pour bean mix into a 1 1/2 qt casserole dish.
    6. Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.
    7. Stir and top with French fried onions.
    8. Bake for another 5 minutes - until the onions are golden brown.
