Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Recipe Introduction
Simple and good...the garlic makes a difference.
List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes (cut into 1 cubes)
- 8 whole cloves of garlic (peeled)
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup cream
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cover the potatoes with cold water and add the garlic. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer 18 - 20 minutes until tender.
- Drain the water from potatoes reserving 1/2 cup of the liquid.
- Place potatoes and garlic in the bowl of a kitchen machine and whisk until smooth.
- Add butter and cream as necessary to obtain desired consistency using cooking liquid if necessary.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and SERVE!
