    Recipe Introduction


    Use smaller or medium size carrots rather than larger ones.


    List of Ingredients


    • 6 small to medium size carrots, thinkly sliced
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1 tbsp butter
    • Salt (to taste)
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar


    Instructions


    1. Place the carrots, water, 1 tbsp butter and salt into a saucepan.
    2. Cover tightly to lock in the aroma of the carrots.
    3. Simmer over low heat for 15 - 20 minutes or until tender crisp and the carrots have absorbed the water.
    4. Combine the brown sugar, 2 tbsp butter and balsamic vinegar in a seperate saucepan.
    5. Cook until well blended.
    6. Pour immediately over the carrots and toss to coat.
