    Grits can be a side or a breakfast food...


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 cups water
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 cup quick cooking grits
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
    • Salt and pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Mix everything BUT the cheese in a saucepan. Bring to a boil in a heavy saucepan, whisking constantly.
    2. Reduce the heat and cover and simmer until the grits are creamy. Stir frequently. (About 10 minutes)
    3. Add cheese and whisk until melted.
    4. Season with salt and pepper.
