    I remember when grandma would serve these at Thanksgiving.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (16oz) package frozen small whole onions.
    • 2 Tbsp Butter
    • 2 Tbsp flour
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. Thaw and drain the onions
    2. Preheat the oven to 350
    3. Melt butter in a heavy sacuepan.
    4. Blend in flour and salt.
    5. Gradually stir in milk.
    6. Cook over medium heat stirrring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Boil and stir for one minute.
    7. Spoon onions into buttered 1 qt casserole and pour sacue over the onions.
    8. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the center is bubbly.
    9. Sprinkle with toasted pecans just prior to serving.
