    List of Ingredients




    Crust:
    -3 cups flour
    -1/2 cup, plus 2 Tbsps, sugar
    -3/4 cup butter, softened
    -1/2 tsp salt

    Filling:
    -4 eggs, lightly beaten
    -1 1/2 cups sugar
    -1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
    -3 Tbsps butter, melted
    -1 1/2 tsps vanilla
    -2 1/2 cups chopped pecans

    Recipe



    For crust:
    -Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    -Grease 15" x 10" x 1" jelly roll pan.
    -Beat flour, sugar, butter and salt in large bowl on medium speed of electric mixer until dry and crumbly.
    -Press firmly in pan and bake until lightly brown, about 20 minutes.

    For filling:
    -Combine and mix eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla and pecans.
    -Pour over baked layer, spreading evenly.
    -Bake until filling is set, about 25 minutes.
    -Cool and cut into 1 1/2" squares.

    *Yield: 70 squares
