Sweet Pumpkin Dip

I cut this out of a magazine but don't know which one!
Recipe Introduction
This is really yummy for a Halloween party or Thanksgiving. Serve with thin cookies (gingersnap, almond, etc.) or thin slices of apples.
List of Ingredients
- 1- 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 1 cup canned pumpkin (use the rest to make a pie)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. ground ginger
- Cookies & sliced fruit for serving
Instructions
- Beat cream cheese and pumpkin in a large mixer bowl until smooth (beat cream cheese first, slowwly add pumpkin). Add sugar, cinnamon and ginger; mix thoroughly. Cover & refridgerate for 1 hour before serving.
- Note:This can also be used as a spread to make dessert sandwiches. Spread on cinnamon-raisin bread or thin slices or cake and cut into nice shapes.
Final Comments
I halved the original recipe, this still makes plenty.
