List of Ingredients 6oz self raising flour 6oz butter 6oz brown sugar 3 medium eggs Golden syrup Instructions cream the butter and sugar together gradually add the flour and beaten eggs a little at a time pour syrup into the bottom of a heatprof bowl - as much or as little as you like put sponge mixture on top of syrup and make a small 'well' in the centre cover bowl with greaseproof paper and secure with string steam over pan of simmering water for approx 1 - 1 1/2 hours turn onto a plate - take care as the syrup will be very hot serve with custard Final Comments Enjoy !! This is one of my favourite puds. My mum used to make it when I was a little girl - now I make it for my family.
