BAKED BEANS

Aunt Saunny
Soak 2 pounds beans in water overnight. Cook until almost soft; drain. Add:
1 pound bacon (uncooked, cut in pieces)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup brown sugar
1 quart tomato juice
If more liquid is needed, add some water. Bake in oven at 325° for 3 to 4 hours
