Sweet 'n' Sour Meatball Appetizer

1 lb lean ground beef
� lb ground veal
� lb ground pork
� C parsley, chopped
� C breadcrumbs
� t salt
� nutmeg
1 egg
� C milk
2 T vegetable oil
1� C onion, chopped
1 16-oz can whole tomatoes
� C tomato sauce
1 T brown sugar
3 T lemon juice
Combine meats with bread crumbs, parsley, salt,nutmeg, egg, and milk. Mix well. Shape into balls. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a large skillet. Brown meatballs in two batches and set aside. Add remaining oil to skillet. Saut� onion. Stir in tomatoes, sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Return meatballs to skillet. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat 15 minutes. Uncover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened
