1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, diced
1 envelope, taco seasoning mix
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 can (16 oz.) refried beans
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies, divided
1 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tbsp. oil
1 cup sifted flour
Cook ground beef and onion in skillet until brown. Drain. Stir in
taco seasoning mix, tomato sauce, and water. Simmer 10 minutes.
Spread refried beans into bottom of greased 9x13x2 inch baking pan.
Layer half of the chilies over the beans. Pour meat mixture evenly
over chilies. Layer remaining chilies over meat. Top with grated
cheese. Blend milk, eggs, oil, and flour. Pour evenly over pan. Bake
at 400 degrees, 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares.
