    Cherries Jubilee Cheesecake Bars

    1 pkg. (2 layer) cherry chip cake mix
    1/2 c. butter or margarine; softened
    1 pkgs. (8 oz each) cream cheese; softened
    1 tub of cherry ready to spread frosting
    3 eggs

    Heat oven to 325. Beat dry cake mix and butter in a large bowl on low speed until crumbly; reserve 1 cup. Press remaining crumbly mixture in bottom of ungreased l3 x 9 inch rectangular pan.

    Beat cream cheese and frosting in same bowl on medium speed until smooth. Beat eggs in until blended. Pour over crust; sprinkle with reserved cup of crumb mixture.

    Bake approx. 45 minutes or until set; cool completely. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.

    Makes 36 bars
