Homemade Banana Wine

This fruity banana wine will be a really tropical addition to your wine cellar
Ingredients:
4 lbs. (2 kilos) bananas
1 lemon
1 orange
3 lbs. (1.5 kilos) sugar
1 gallon water
4 oz. (125g) raisins
yeast 4 pkgs to start
Cooking Instructions:
Peel the bananas and put them in a fairly thick NEW muslin bag, together with half a pound of banana skins and tie securely
Place the bag in a large SOUP POT together with the water and bring to the boil
Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes
pour Liquid into large mouth 5 gallon pickle jar, or similar suitable container, over the sugar and squeezed lemon and orange juice
When cool, squeeze the bag firmly and pour liquid in jar
Add yeast Place a rubber surgical glove over top and secure with twine and leave for a week, Glove will stand up and swell like a baloon
Remove glove and add three more yeast and 1 cup sugar--stir and top with another glove and tie well Leabe 1 week
Open add 2 yeast and 1/2 cup sugar add the chopped raisins secure with glove and twine let set 1 week
Remove glove add 2 pks yeast and 1 cup sugar. Cover with glove and string--tie yight and let set 14 days
Remove glove and stir well--cover and let sit 2 days remove glove and stir strain through super fine cheese cloth or wine strainer and bottle--seal and store.
