    Hot Buttered Rum Batter

    Aunt Saunny

    1 lb. butter, softened
    1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 lb. brown sugar
    2 tsp. butter rum extract (flavoring)

    Mix all ingredients together, with an electric mixer. Pour into a
    covered container and freeze.

    ~~~To mix drinks~~~
    Add to each mug:
    2 TB batter
    1 cup hot water
    1 jigger dark rum

    Stir until batter starts to dissolve. Serve.
