1 QUART STRAWBERRIES FRESH OR FROZEN
3 CUPS 80 PROOF VODKA
1 CUP WATER
1 TSP WHOLE CORIANDER
2 CUPS GRANULATED SUGAR
Thaw frozen berries, wash and drain fresh. Place in a glass or glazed ceramic container and mash slightly with a large spoon. Mix in vodka water and coriander. Cover and let stand at room temp for 2 weeks or until the strawberries have lost most of their color and the liquid is bright red. Strain through a fine sieve and discard residue. Add sugar, stir until sugar is dissolved. Cover and let stand overnight to clear. Pour into bottles and cap.
