BREAKFAST COOKIES

This comes from the Virginia Hospitality cookbook. Yields two dozen.
1/2 lb bacon
1/2 cup butter
3/4 sugar
1 egg
1 C flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 350. Cook bacon until very crisp, drain well. Break in
pieces. Beat together butter & sugar until fluffy; beat in egg. Combine
flour & soda; stir into butter mixture. Stir in bacon, corn flakes &
raisins. Drop by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie
sheets. Back for 15 to 18 minutes Cool one minute
