    "Nana" to Bubbe & Alex

    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup whipping (heavy) cream
    1/4 cup light corn syrup
    2 Tablespoons margarine or butter
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3 medium bananas, diagonally sliced

    Mix sugar, whipping cream, corn syrup, margarine, and vanilla
    in 1-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally;
    remove from heat. Add bananas, stir gently until well coated.
    Use as topping over Chocolate Waffles.
    Serves: 12
