Brown Sugar Fudge Frosting

2 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 Tbsp corn syrup
4 Tbsp. butter
few grains salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Combine all ingredients except vanilla in large saucepan. Heat over medium heat stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil, not stirring until it reaches soft ball stage (238 degrees) Cool to lukewarm. Add vanilla and beat until creamy and stiff enough to spread
