PECAN PIE CAKE

1 yellow cake mix
1 egg
½ c melted butter
1½ c light corn syrup
3 eggs
½ c dark brown sugar, packed
1 tsp vanilla
1 to 2 c chopped pecans
Mix cake mix, 1 egg, & melted butter until well blended.
Reserve 2/3 cup of this batter.
Spread the rest into a greased & floured 9X13" pan and bake at 325º for 15 min or until slightly browned.
Mix reserved batter with syrup, 3 eggs, brown sugar, vanilla pecans.
Pour this on top of crust & cook about 50-60 min.
