Velveeta Fudge

"Nana" to Bubbe & Alex
Melt together 1# of oleo and 1 # of Velveeta over low heat, stirring til smooth.
While that's melting together, sift together 4 # powdered sugar (yes, 4 pounds) and 1 c. cocoa. When first mixture is melted, stir in 1 T. vanilla. Then stir both mixtures together. Keep stirring--it takes a while but it will become smooth and creamy. You can add 1 to 2 c. chopped nuts if desired. Spread in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cool and cut.
Makes 6 1/2# of fudge.
You can cut the recipe in half easily. Or you can put into 2 9x13 pans to make a thinner fudge. Store tightly covered. May be frozen for longer storage--if you can leave it alone.
(Most people won't believe there is Velveeta in this fudge but it makes it so creamy and smooth--it's addictive)
