    Cherry Mash Candy

    Aunt Saunny

    1 pound salted nuts (We used pecans or peanuts and grandma used
    walnuts)
    16 ounces chocolate chips
    3/4 cup peanut butter
    12 large marshmallows
    1 can cherry frosting.

    Grind nuts. On low heat melt chocolate chips and peanut butter. Stir in
    nuts. Spread 1/2 of mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan and chill.
    Keep remaining mixture warm.......(I put it in the freezer until it
    firms)Melt in double boiler marshmallows and cherry frosting. Spread over
    cooled chocolate mixture and top with remaining chocolate mixture.
    Chill and cut in small squares.
