3 large onions
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
3 Tbsp. catsup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. crushed pepper
Sauté 20 minutes. (If you wanted to can this, I would just sauté for
10 minutes or so and then follow your canning methods for
preserving.......maybe another 10 minutes in a rolling water bath.)
