Ricotta Cheese Cake With Cinnamon

1 yellow cake mix, I used Duncan Hines
1 1/2 lbs. Ricotta cheese, I used the kind with whole milk
4 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 oz. Cool Whip, I used 3/4 of a lg. tub
1/2 c. walnuts, I used half walnuts and half slivered almonds, chopped real fine in my mini chopper.
Make cake mix as directed on pkg. in a 9x13" greased and floured pan.
Beat together cheese, eggsd, surar, and vanilla.
Spoon mixture on top of batter, a little at a time, spreading as you spoon it.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 mins.
After cooked, spread 4 oz. Cool Whip on top, and walnuts, chopped real fine.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and 1/4 c. sugar mixture.
