Walnut Cheesecake

Serve this plain, or add a prepared fruit topping after the cake has cooled.
1 cup, finely crushed walnuts
1 pound, cream cheese
8 ounces, sour cream
1 cup, sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon, vanilla
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Pour the walnuts into an 8-inch pie plate(disposable is fine), and spread to cover the bottom evenly. Set aside.In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar, and mix until well blended. Add the eggs and vanilla, and stir just to blend. The batter
will look slightly lumpy. Pour the batter into the pan, and bake until the surface is slightly cracked and springs back to the touch, about 45 minutes. Allow to cool, and
refrigerate overnight. Serve chilled
