    Aunt Saunny

    Prep: 15 min, Cook: 25 min.
    1-1/3 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt necessary
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg, freshly grated
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 cup dark molasses
    3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
    1/4 cup canola oil, or other vegetable oil
    1/4 cup apple butter
    2 large eggs
    1-1/2 cups raisins

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly oil a 9x13 inch baking dish or coat with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. Whisk together first 8 ingredients in a bowl. Beat together next 5 ingredients in a separate bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Add dry ingredients and beat on low speed just until combined. Stir in raisins.

    Transfer batter to prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake 20-25 minutes, or until batter feels set when lightly pressed in the center. Let cool in baking dish on a rack. Cut into 1 lb. bars. Store at room temperature in an airtight container
