When done this wreath is white with a red bow at the top of it, and the bow has long streamers or ends to it. The rest of the wreath is covered with candies and ornaments or trinkets of your choosing.
30 inch artificial long needle pine wreath on wire frame
flat white spray paint
artificial snow
3 yds 2 inches wide red velvet ribbon
Decorative candies: 15 lollypops, 12 gold chocolate coins, 3 marshmallows on a stick
Small ornaments: 8 small wrapped gifts, 15 novelty glass ornaments, 3 small straw sleighs, 15 musical instruments, 4 gingerbread men and stars)
Glue gun
stapler
wire or string as needed
Paint wreath with white paint, let dry. Spray with snow, let dry. Cut three 12 inch lengths of ribbon for bow loops. Fold back ends of each and overlap 1/2 inch at center back, staple. Cut a 3 inch length of ribbon. Place loops on center of remaining ribbon and wrap 3 inch strip around middle, staple ends at back. Glue bow to wreath above opening, Arrange streamers in waves among branches. Lay wreath flat or tilt slightly to work. Place largest items, such as marshmallows on sticks and lollypops evenly spaced. Glue on. Then fill in with smaller items, using gold coins and other bright pieces as accents. Hang wreath. Check placement of streamers, arrange and glue waves in place if desired.*
