2 ( 8 oz each) pkgs cream cheese (softened to room temp)
1 Tbs Worstershire Sauce
1/4 cup chives
3/4 cup dried beef (not the type u find in the lunch meat section but
the type in a jar over in
the tuna and other dried meat section
at your grocery store)
green onions to taste
At medium speed beat the cream cheese until smooth. I usually beat this
for at least 5 minutes cleaning the beater/beaters and edges of mixing
bowl every little bit. Add accent, Worstershire Sauce, chives, dried
beef, and onions and mix well. Shape into a log or ball. Serve with a
variety of crackers.
Variations and Ideas :
After shaping you can cover the outside with nuts, chives, or dired
beef to add another look to your cheese ball.
Also you can add horseradish to taste to kick your cheese ball up
another notch !
