    1 1/2 cups Sugar -- granulated
    1/3 cup Water
    3 tablespoons Meringue powder
    1/3 cup Lukewarm water
    2 tablespoons Sugar -- granulated
    1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

    Combine 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar and 1/3 cup water in small saucepan.Bring to a boil, making sure to stir until there are no crystals on sides of pan Boil until candy thermometer registers 240 F. In electric mixer bowl, beat the meringue powder and 1/3 cup lukewarm water until
    foamy. Gradually beat in the 2 tb. sugar. Beat until stiff.
    Add hot cooked syrup in a steady stream while beating.
    Beat in vanilla extract and continue beating until soft peaks form. Use for all- over cake frosting.
