Blarney Stones Cookie Mix In A Jar

1.. 1 cup sugar
2.. 3/4 cup golden raisins
3.. 1 1/2 cups peanuts; salted
4.. 1 3/4 cups flour; * mixed together
5.. 1 teaspoon baking soda; * mixed together
6.. 1 teaspoon allspice; * mixed together
Procedure:
1.. Mix flour with baking soda and allspice.
2.. Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
3.. Press each layer firmly in place before adding next
ingredient.

6.. Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies
7.. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl.
8.. Use yourhands to thoroughly blend mix.
9.. Add: 3/4 cup butter ; not diet, very soft
10.. 2 eggs, slightly beaten
11.. 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
12.. Mix until completely blended.
13.. You will need to finish mixing with your hands.
14.. Shape into balls the size of walnuts.
15.. Place 2 inches apart on sprayed baking sheets.
16.. Bake at 375 degrees F for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
17.. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet.
