STRAWBERRY CAKE DELIGHT

1 box strawberry cake mix
1 (12 to 16 ounce) strawberry jam
1 can prepared sour cream frosting
6 fresh strawberries, washed, drained, and sliced
powdered sugar
Bake cake as directed in 8-inch round pans. Cool cake. Melt jam in microwave until spreading consistency, about 2 minutes on 40% power. Spread half of jam on first layer. Top with second cake layer. Spread frosting on all sides of cake. Spread remaining jam on top of cake.
Place sliced strawberries on top cake. Sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar. Slice and serve.
