Chicken Enchilada Casserole

1 medium chopped onion
2-3 tbsp. butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chicken broth
1 small can chopped green chiles
1-2 cups diced cooked chicken
12 corn tortillas, or as needed
1 pound grated Longhorn cheese
Brown onion in butter. Combine with soups, broth & green chiles. Add chicken and mix well. In a large greased baking dish and using half of each component, place a layer or corn tortillas, chicken mixture and cheese. Repeat for one more layer. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
