    Serving: 10 to 12
    1 pound bow-tie pasta
    1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
    2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1/2 cup olive oil
    8 medium plum tomatoes, sliced
    1 package (12 ounces) string cheese, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    1/2 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced

    Prepare the pasta according to the package directions, drain, rinse, and drain again.
    In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper, mix well. Slowly whisk in the olive oil until thoroughly blended.

    In a large bowl, combine the pasta, tomatoes, cheese, and basil, mix well. Add the dressing and toss until well combined. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
