Deep Dish Coconut Pie

4 eggs
1 prepared Deep Dish Pie Crust 9 - 10 inch size
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut plus 1/8 cup for top of pie
In a large mixing bowl , combine all ingredients one at a time mixing after each one eggs, butter, sugar, flour, baking powder, milk, vanilla, salt and coconut. With electric mixer beat until smooth. Pour into pie shell
