Fudge Pie

4 ounces sweet baking chocolate
1/4 cup butter
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup hot water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
In a saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat.
Remove from heat. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate mixture and
the condensed milk. Stir in the eggs, water, vanilla and salt.
Pour into the pie shell (the mixture will be thin). Sprinkle with the
pecans. Bake at 350-degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until the filling
is just set. Serve warm or chilled. Store in refrigerator.
