Strawberry Pie

1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup cold water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 cups fresh strawberries
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup whipping cream
Make and bake your favorite pie shell. Mix sugar, cornstarch, lemon
juice, water, and 1 cup strawberries. Cook 8 minutes until thick.
Thoroughly cool. Put remaining strawberries [2 cups] in baked pie
shell and cover with the cooked mixture. Chill. Top with whipped
cream.
