Company Pork Chops

4 1 1/4 inch thick pork chops
1 C. uncooked rice
1/2 C. water
4 1/2 inch thick Bermuda onion slices
1 15-oz. can Hunt's tomato sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Brown pork chops on both sides and put in Dutch oven that has a tight
cover. Bring rice and water to a hard boil in a saucepan. Remove from
fire and let stand while you prepare the onion slices. Place 1 onion
slice on each pork chop. Divide the rice in 4 sections and place on top
of the onion on each pork chop. The rice should mold into a ball shape.
Pour can of tomato sauce over each pork chop until sauce is gone. Cover
and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 4
