Slow Baked HAM

1 Smoked or sugar ham 15/18 lbs with bone intact OR your favorite brand
1 (12 oz.) can Coke or Pepsi at room temperature
1 large can pineapple slices/ rings pour jioce over ham after coke or pepsi
1 can cherry pie filling
4 whole clove spikes
Put ham in deep pan/roaster on aluminum foil.
Cut deep slits into ham through skin through to the bone Put in clove spikes. One spike on each end and two in the middle
Pour Coke then pineapple juice over the ham.
Place pineapple rings on top secured by toothpicks---cover top and sides
Pour cherry filling over pineapples. Wrap securely with foil If using roaster place lid on
Bake at low temperature (300 degrees F) for 3 1/2-4 hours.
Open foil and baste ham with juices from bottom using both juices and cherries from bottom of pan- every hour -. Wrap well and return to oven for 40-50 minutes. THEN cut off oven Leave ham wrapped securely and let set in oven 30 minutes until ready to eat
