German Potato Salad

1 lb. bacon, fried crisp, save grease
6 med. potatoes, sliced, and boiled
1 lg. onion
2 t. flour
2 T. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
dash pepper
1/3 c. red vinegar, can use other kind
In a lg. skillet, cook onions in bacon grease. Stir until onions are brown, and tender.
Stir in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, and pepper. Stir, and cook over low heat, until bubbling. Remove from heat.
Stir in water and vinegar. Reheat to boiling, stirring constantly.Boil, and stir for 1 min.
Crumble bacon on sliced potatoes.
Pour mixture over potatoes, and stir.
Serve.
