    Barbecue Beef for Sandwiches

    a.. 2 1/2 to 3 lbs lean trimmed chuck roast or bottom round
    b.. 1 1/2 cups ketchup
    c.. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    d.. 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    e.. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    f.. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    g.. 1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavouring
    h.. 1/2 teaspoon salt
    i.. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    j.. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

    Place roast in crockpot. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over
    roast. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Remove roast, shred meat.
    Place shredded meat back in crockpot; stir to coat well. Spoon barbecue
    beef onto sandwich buns with extra sauce, if desired.
    Serves 6 to 8.
