    Aunt Saunny

    1 (2-lb.) round steak, cut into strips
    1/4 cup butter
    1/2 cup Dijon mustard
    1 onion, cut into rings
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    Sandwich bread, pitas or buns

    Cut round steak into strips and brown in butter in skillet over medium-high heat on stove-top.
    Put browned strips in slow cooker and cover with Dijon mustard. Add inonion rings. Sprinkle with black pepper.
    Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve in sandwich buns or pitas.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
