    Scallops With Mushrooms #1

    List of Ingredients

    Serving Size : 6


    1/2 cup Butter or margarine -- divided
    1 cup Mushrooms -- thinly sliced
    3 tablespoons Onion -- minced
    1 tablespoon Garlic -- minced
    1 lb. Fresh bay scallops
    1/2 cup Soft bread crumbs
    1/2 cup Parsley -- minced
    Salt and pepper to taste


    Recipe

    Melt 1/4 cup butter in a skillet, and saute mushrooms until lightly browned and liquid is released. Add onion and garlic, and saute another minute. Place mixture in bowl, and cool. Preheat oven to 450°. Add to muchroom mixture 2 tablespoons of remaining butter, scallops, bread crumbs, parsley, and salt and pepper. Mix well. Fill individual ovenproof dishes, and arrange on baking sheet. Melt remaining butter, and pour over scallops. Bake 10 minutes. Place under broiler until browned, about 1 minute.
