    "Nana" to Bubbe & Alex

    1 3oz. can Chow Mein noodles (2 C.)
    1 c. minature marshmallows
    combine and set aside

    mix together in sauce pan
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 T. oleo
    1/2 c. evaporated milk

    Bring to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly.Remove from heat and add 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips. (You can also use mint chips) Stir until melted. Let stand 15 minutes. Pour over noodle mixture, stir until well coated. Drop by tsp. onto wax-paper lined cookie sheet. Chill until set. About 1 hour.

    Variations: decrease milk to 6 T. and substitute butterscotch or milk chocolate chips. Peanuts can also be added.
