    Bacon Potato Chowder

    Aunt Saunny

    8 strips of bacon, cut in 1-in. pieces
    2 C new red potatoes, cubed
    ½ C onion, chopped
    1 8-oz carton sour cream
    1¼ C milk
    1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 8-oz can whole kernel corn, drained
    ¼ t pepper
    ¼ t thyme leaves

    In a large saucepan cook bacon over medium heat. Add
    potatoes and onions. Continue cooking, stirring often,
    until potatoes are soft (15-20 minutes). Add remaining
    ingredients and continue to cook until heated through
