Black-Eyed Pea Skillet

1/2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion-chopped
1 medium bell pepper-chopped
1 15-oz. can black-eyed peas-drained
1 10-oz. can chopped tomatoes with green chilies-drained
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
In a large saucepan, brown ground beef and drain. Add onion and bell pepper to ground beef and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
