Beet Casserole

3 cups sliced beets, cooked
1 tblsp all-purpose flour
2 tblsp dark brown sugar
1/3 tsp salt
1/4 tsp paprika
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of ground cloves
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tblsp butter or margarine
2 tblsp vinegar
1/4 cup boiling water
Thorougly blend beets with flour, sugar, salt and spices. Add remaining ingredients; pour into baking dish. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated and slightly thickened.
Makes 6-8 servings
