Blackened Brussels Sprouts

20 Brussels sprouts, cut in half the long way
1 onion, chopped
salt, pepper, and Cajun spice, to taste
Heat oil till its spitting hot. Add Brussels Sprouts, flat side down. Cook for a while stirring occasionally. When Brussels Sprouts begin to soften and blacken, 10 minutes or so, add onions. Cook till onions are slightly blackened too. Serves 4.
