Crispy Fried Cabbage

1 Cabbage, cut in small wedges 1 egg
1 cup milk 1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. mustard
1 1/2 c. flour
Cut cabbage into small wedges. Beat together egg, mustard & milk. Sift together flour, salt, & pepper. Dip wedges in egg mixture, then in flour, (for a crispier batter, repeat). Fry in hot fat until browned.
