Barbecued Green Beans

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1 cup chopped onions
4 to 5 (14.5-ounce) cans green beans, drained
6 slices bacon
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, ketchup and chopped onions. Stir in beans. Pour into a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish. Lay bacon slices over top of green bean mixture. Bake about 3 hours.
