1 lb. fresh green beans, washed and snapped into bite sized pieces
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled; fat reserved
1 medium onion, sliced (about 1/2 Cup)
Soy sauce
Garlic powder
Cook the green beans in unsalted water until crisp but tender. Heat the reserved bacon grease and add onion. Sauté until almost translucent and add mushrooms and cook until all liquid has been absorbed. While beans are still hot, add onion and mushroom mixture. Sprinkle liberally with
soy sauce and garlic powder. Taste as you go to make sure it is to your liking. Add crumbled bacon and serve.
