Marinated Vegetables

1 large cauliflower
5-3/4-ounces stuffed green olives
3 carrots, cut in strips
3 cans whole mushrooms
2 stalks celery, cut in chunks
1 can pitted black olives
2 green peppers, cut in chunks
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 cup salad oil
1-1/2 cups cider vinegar
1-1/3 cups sugar
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon oregano
Be sure to drain everything well. Precook cauliflower and carrots
about 4 minutes. Mix all vegetables EXCEPT green pepper. Mix
together garlic, oil, vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and oregano.
Pour over vegetables and mix well. Put in a large GLASS bowl or jar;
cover tightly; refrigerate and mix or shake jar about every 2 hours.
Add green pepper the last 2 hours before serving. Always make the
day before you want to serve it. Serve with toothpicks.
